Mince Pie Kit (pre-order for December)
Our version of a traditional mince pie - our recipe includes beef mince as a nod to the original mince pies served before high quantities of fruit and sugar took over, as well as the usual sultanas, currants, and more.
We use the suet and meat from retired Jersey dairy cows, which lends a richness and balance you don't often find in mince pies these days.
The mincemeat is aged for anything up to 12 months and features plenty of dried fruit, citrus juice, and wintery booze.
These kits contain enough mincemeat for 6 or 12 pies, pastry discs for you to build and shape the pies, and tins for you to bake them in. We'll also send an instruction booklet with photos to guide you step-by-step to making your own Flor mince pies.
Allergens: gluten, eggs, dairy, lactose, sulphur dioxide, alcohol.
Please note, our Mince Pie Kit is only available during December. If you have the Mince Pie Kit in you cart, you will not be able to check out for dates in November.
